Now this is a whole different beast. Forget about the brain-dead greenskin savages with clubs. Shadowrun: Dragonfall throws us into a grim cyberpunk Berlin where magic coexists with high technology, and orcs aren’t just cannon fodder but full-fledged members of society. An orc hacker? Easy. An orc street samurai with implants? I’ll take two. The game is a deeply tactical RPG with turn-based combat where you need to smartly use cover, focus down targets, and combo your mercs’ abilities. The story here is absolutely killer – non-linear, mature, with tons of dialogue and choices that actually matter. The cyberpunk atmosphere is top-notch.

This isn’t some five-minute mobile grinder; it’s a full-fledged, serious game that’ll last you dozens of hours. A definite must-have for anyone who loves smart RPGs.

Warhammer 40000: Regicide

Orc Games for Mobile (Android & iOS)

Release Date: 2017
Platforms: PC, iOS, Android
Genres: Strategy, Turn-Based, Tactical, Multiplayer, Warhammer 40000, Orcs, Chess, Two Player
More about the game: Read More

Now this is, frankly, a wild experiment. The developers took regular chess and mashed it together with tactical action in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. So what came out of it? The gameplay is split into two modes. The first is classic chess, but instead of wooden pieces, we have units from Warhammer, where brutal orcs or Space Marines take on the roles of pawns, queens, and knights. But the real hook of the game, of course, is the second mode called “Regicide.” Here, the board turns into a real battlefield. Besides normal moves, each piece gets an initiative phase where you can shoot, use abilities, and start a genuine brawl. A regular game of chess instantly turns into a bloodbath with explosions and firefights, where your orc pawn can easily pull out a gun and blast an enemy bishop or blow up a queen with a grenade.

Fresh, original, and very much in the spirit of Warhammer.

Finally! Instead of saving the Imperium for the hundredth time, we get to command the most fun and insane faction in the universe – the Orks. This game is a classic hardcore wargame with hexes and action points. We play as the Greenskins during the Second War for Armageddon, and our task is dead simple – crush, break, and capture everything that isn’t nailed down.

The entire gameplay comes down to managing huge mobs of diverse units, from regular Boyz to gigantic Gargants. The Horde is strong in melee, so the main tactic is to get your troops up close and start a merciless brawl, but don’t forget about artillery and tanks. You need to plan your advance carefully, manage resources, and push the enemy’s flanks at the right time. This isn’t some casual game; it’s a real, deep strategy that requires you to think. In short, a true gift for all fans of turn-based tactics and those who have always dreamed of leading their own WAAAGH!

Kingdom Rush

Kingdom Rush

Genres: Strategy, Tower Defense, Tactical, Fantasy, Indie, 2D, Single-Player
More about the game: Read More

Well, you could say this is the granddaddy of all modern mobile TD games. Don’t let the cartoony graphics fool you; this is serious business. The game is a benchmark Tower Defense where you have to build up defenses from various towers to fend off waves of enemies. The opponents include just about everyone – goblins, undead, and of course, massive orcs and trolls who just steamroll ahead and smash your defenses. The main hook of the game is its depth – it’s not enough to just spam cannons. You have to upgrade each tower at the right time, they have different progression paths, plus you have a hero with their own skills and global spells like calling reinforcements or a meteor shower. The balance here is meticulously tuned, and on higher difficulties, the game turns into a real hardcore challenge.

A solid project that will suck you in for hours. A classic.

Orecraft: Orc Mining Camp

Orecraft: Orc Mining Camp

Release Date: 2025
Platforms: Android, iOS
Genres: Simulator, Strategy, Base Building, Orcs, Economic
More about the game: Read More

This game is basically an orc tycoon simulator, I guess. We play as a clan chief who has to develop a modest mining camp into a real empire. The entire gameplay boils down to management and resource gathering. We send our orcs into the mines to dig ore, and then decide what to do with it – you can sell it immediately for quick cash, or use it to craft weapons and armor to strengthen your warriors. Besides that, you need to hire new workers, upgrade buildings, and discover new areas for excavation. The main feature is that the mines keep working even when you’re offline, so resources are constantly trickling in.

In short, it’s a classic time-killer with RPG elements. Perfect to get lost in for a couple of evenings.

Orc Dungeon

What we have here is an RPG where the entire combat system is based on dice rolls. Yes, you heard that right, all damage and the outcome of the battle are decided by His Majesty, RNG.

The story here is, frankly, just an excuse. We play as a young, fashion-conscious orc whose dad kicked him out of the house. To earn forgiveness, we have to descend into dungeons and collect a legendary set of armor. Essentially, the entire gameplay is dungeon clearing, loot grinding, and leveling up. The cool part is that there’s a metric ton of weapons, plus you can assemble a party of minions and other heroes. There’s also a multiplayer component with PvP tournaments and guilds for joint raids.

This game is strictly an acquired taste. If you’re not annoyed by total RNG, you can get hooked.

Orc Evolution: Create Monsters

Orc Evolution: Create Monsters

Release Date: 2018
Platforms: Android
Genres: Simulator, Casual, Orcs
More about the game: Read More

And this is just some weird nonsense for those tired of serious games. Simply put, it’s a mutant-clicker where you have to merge orcs to create new, increasingly strange species. The entire gameplay boils down to dragging one orc onto a similar one to get a new, more advanced class. The goal is to go through all the stages of evolution and create the coolest… or the cutest, I guess, orc. The developers also threw in some nonsense about teaching orcs music to form an orchestra. Yes, an orc orchestra, you heard that right.

A brainless time-killer to waste five minutes.

Orcs X – Idle Clicker RPG

Orcs X - Idle Clicker RPG

Release Date: 2020
Platforms: Android
Genres: Clicker, Building, Simulator, Casual, Orcs, Pixel
More about the game: Read More

Simply put, what we have here is another pixelated tapper about orcs.

The story is just an excuse – our clan was shipwrecked and ended up on an island. So. The whole game you’ll be endlessly clicking the screen to gather wood, spending that wood to upgrade your axe to gather even more wood, leveling up your orcs so they bring in passive income, building a fortress, and sending squads on quests. The entire gameplay loop is based on this endless grind, but thanks to the pleasant pixel graphics and constant upgrades, you can get hooked for a long time.

A decent time-killer, nothing more.

Save The Orcs

Save The Orcs

Release Date: 2012
Platforms: Android, iOS
Genres: Casual, Orcs, Knights, Strategy
More about the game: Read More

And here we have a casual game with a plot that feels like it was written for a kindergarten play. Long story short, there’s an evil King who didn’t like… cheerful orcs. So he decided to punish them. Our job is to lead the greenskins and bring back their stolen happiness, whatever that means.

The gameplay is a simple real-time strategy, kind of like Plants vs Zombies. The whole game, you’ll be going through levels one by one, fending off waves of the king’s troops. Besides knights, there will be mages and all sorts of other monsters. For victories, we get new weapons and unlock new units, which allows us to move on to the next, slightly more difficult stage. That’s the whole game, basically – an endless series of short battles with gradual progression.

A simple little game to kill time. Nothing more.

WarBattle: humans vs orcs

WarBattle: humans vs orcs

Release Date: 2023
Platforms: Android
Genres: Casual, Orcs, Knights, Strategy, Tactics, Multiplayer, Building, Fantasy
More about the game: Read More

What we have here is a typical “lane pusher” mobile strategy game. The gameplay is as follows – there are two bases, yours and the enemy’s, and our task is to spam units that will run and push the enemy citadel. The entire gameplay is based on resource management and timely deployment of the right warriors. Besides orcs, you can also play as humans, dwarves, elves, or undead, and each race has its own small bonuses. Orcs here, as they should, rely on brute force and numbers – they build up slowly, but in a large mob, they’re unstoppable. There’s a PvE campaign with various missions, as well as a PvP mode for battles with other players.

It’s simple, but to kill some time – it’s perfectly fine.

The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War

The Lord of the Rings: War

Release Date: 2021
Platforms: Android, iOS
Genres: Strategy, Orcs, Knights, Multiplayer, Building, Fantasy, Military, The Lord of the Rings
More about the game: Read More

Well, we’ve arrived at the holy grail. What we have here is a typical mobile MMO-strategy, just wrapped in the gorgeous Middle-earth packaging of The Lord of The Rings universe.

The game is a classic of the genre – we are thrown onto a huge global map, given a patch of land, and told to “develop.” From there, it’s the usual drill: build a base, gather resources, build an army, and paint the map your faction’s color. Of course, you can play as the forces of evil like Mordor or Isengard, gathering hordes of orcs and Uruk-hai under your banners. The entire gameplay is a slow and methodical grind, where you constantly have to build something, upgrade it, and send troops to capture new tiles. You can’t do anything alone here, so you’ll have to join a “Fellowship,” a.k.a. the local guild, to survive and participate in massive PvP brawls.

This game is strictly for fans of the genre and the universe who are ready to spend a ton of time on it. And money, of course.

War Legends: RTS strategy game

War Legends: RTS strategy game

Release Date: 2023
Platforms: Android, iOS
Genres: Real-Time Strategy, Orcs, Knights, Multiplayer, Building, Fantasy, Military, Action, Magic
More about the game: Read More

Alright, so this one is an attempt to bring a classic PC RTS to the mobile format. The developers were clearly inspired by the good old Warcraft – you’ve got your orcs and humans, elves, and even dwarves with undead. The gameplay is the standard set of actions for the genre: build a base, send workers to gather resources, build barracks, churn out units, and go rush the enemy base. Each race has its own unique troops and features; orcs, as usual, rely on brute force and powerful melee fighters. Besides the single-player campaign, there are a bunch of PvP modes from 1v1 to 3v3 team battles, as well as clans and tournaments.

Overall, it’s a pretty solid take on the classics, but micromanagement on a touchscreen is… quite an experience. All in all, for RTS fans, it’s just the thing.

Clash Of Orcs City Building

Clash Of Orcs City Building

Release Date: 2017
Platforms: Android
Genres: Strategy, Tower Defense, Orcs, Casual, Building, Fantasy
More about the game: Read More

Alright, so this one is primarily a city-building simulator with orcs, and then everything else. The player’s main goal is to take control of a run-down orc village and build it up into a mighty empire that somehow evolves from fantasy to full-on sci-fi over time. The entire gameplay revolves around settlement management: you need to construct various buildings, upgrade them, place defensive towers to protect against raids, and generally keep an eye on the economy. The main feature the devs boast about is the supposed lack of construction timers, which sounds like fantasy for a mobile grinder. There’s definitely a catch somewhere, most likely in the cost of the upgrades themselves. And when the city is built, you can assemble an army and go PvP against other players, thankfully, troops aren’t lost after battle here.

All in all, it’s an addictive building game with PvP elements, not the other way around. A surprisingly solid project.

OrcClash

OrcClash

Release Date: 2025
Platforms: Android
Genres: Action, Card, Orcs, Casual, Elves, Dwarves, Knights, Magic, Fantasy
More about the game: Read More

Simply put, what we have here is a Clash Royale clone, but instead of knights and goblins, there are orcs, and instead of towers, there’s an enemy chieftain. The gameplay is built on real-time PvP duels. We have a “deck” of units, and we spend a constantly regenerating resource called “Rage” to summon them to the battlefield. The summoned fighters immediately appear as full 3D models and run down the lane to push the enemy. All the tactics boil down to managing rage properly, deploying the right units at the right time, and building effective combos to break through defenses.

Besides the main PvP mode, there are also PvE adventures with bosses where you can farm resources to upgrade your warriors. There’s nothing original here, but the formula itself works and is dangerously addictive.

Orc Warrior Simulator

Orc Warrior Simulator

Release Date: 2018
Platforms: Android
Genres: Action, Simulator, Orcs, Fantasy, Sword Fighting, Third-Person
More about the game: Read More

And here’s another “simulator” of everything under the sun, this time they’re letting us step into the skin of an orc. The game is a simple action title with survival elements. We play as the leader of a small orc clan and run around a rather large, but empty, fantasy world. The entire gameplay loop boils down to finding various wild animals and monsters and then click-spamming them to death with a couple of abilities. For victories, we get XP, level up our skills, and go look for stronger mobs.

The graphics and sound here, let’s just say, exist. A primitive grind for the sake of grinding, just to kill half an hour.

Hex Commander: Fantasy Heroes

Hex Commander: Fantasy Heroes

Release Date: 2017
Platforms: Android, PC
Genres: Strategy, Turn-Based, Tactical, Fantasy, Orcs, Indie, Multiplayer, Economy
More about the game: Read More

In short, what we have here is a mobile knock-off of the good old “Heroes of Might and Magic.” The gameplay is painfully familiar: there’s a global map where we move our hero, gather resources, and capture mines, and upon encountering an enemy, we are transported to a tactical field divided into hexes. Here, in turn-based mode, we command our units, use terrain features, and our hero’s abilities. There are several campaigns for different factions, including orcs, where we get to command a dragon and a goblin. Besides that, you need to build up your castle to hire new, stronger warriors and get various bonuses.

For a mobile game, it’s surprisingly well-made; fans of “Heroes” will definitely dig it. The multiplayer with a “Battle Royale” mode sounds weird for this genre, but it’s here. A solid project.
